Indian Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2025: 1500 Vacancies Open

Indian Bank shared the Apprentice employment for 2025. Under the Apprentices Act 1961 there are 1500 openings for graduates for this post. For young graduates this is a great chance to gain work experience in the banking field. The online application started on 18th July 2025 and will end on 7th August 2025. Those who get selected will work as students for 12 months. During this time, they will get monthly stipend between ₹12,000 and ₹15,000, it depends on where they get posted. The aim of this employment is to give candidates real-life experience in banking and help them learn important skills about banking and more. Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Indian Bank Apprentice 2025, candidates should meet the following rules:

Educational 

You should be graduate or should have a graduation in any subject from a recognized university. This degree should be completed on or after 1st April 2021. Where you are applying you also need to know the local language of the state.

Age Limit

Your age should be at least 20 years and not more than 28 years old as of 1st July 2025.
Age relaxation is given to some categories:

• SC/ST: 5 years extra

• OBC: 3 years extra

• PwBD (Persons with Disabilities): 10 years extra

 

Application Process 

Here are the simple steps to apply:

1. Register on NATS Portal:
   First, you need to make your profile on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) website: www.nats.education.gov.in.

2. Apply Online:
   Go to the official Indian Bank website: www.indianbank.in and click on the Careers section.

3. Fill the Form:
   Enter your personal, educational, and contact details in the form.

4. Upload Documents:
   Upload scanned copies of your photo, signature, thumb impression, and  handwritten declaration.

5. Pay the Fee:

• General/OBC/EWS: ₹800 + GST

• SC/ST/PwBD: ₹175 + GST

6. Submit and Print:
   After you pay the fee, submit the form and take a printout for your records.

Selection Process 

The selection process has two steps:

1. Online Written Test

• • Total Questions: 100 (all multiple choice)

  • Time: 60 minutes

  • Subjects and Marks:

    • Reasoning: 15 marks

    • Computer Knowledge: 10 marks

    • English Language: 25 marks

    • Maths (Quantitative Aptitude): 25 marks

    • General Awareness (about banking): 25 marks

  • There is negative marking – If you answer a question wrong 0.25 marks will be cut .

2. Local Language Test 

• You have to show that you can read, write, and speak the local language of the state you are applying for.

• If you have already studied that language in your 10th or 12th class, you don’t need to take this test.

Stipend Details

Candidates who will get selected will get a monthly salary based on where they get posted:

• In big cities (Metro/Urban areas): ₹15,000 per month

• In small towns or villages (Rural/Semi-Urban areas): ₹12,000 per month
